Diamond Envelope Corporation is SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. These are credible certification programs designed to provide proof that the paper we use is from sustainably-managed sources.
All of the paper used at Diamond Envelope Corporation is SFI certified. We work closely with many of the top paper mills and environmental agencies within the United States.
Diamond Envelope Corporation utilizes water-based inks that are environmentally friendly. We recycle our ink and return it to the manufacturer, which is then used to create our black inside tint ink.
Diamond Envelope Corporation uses the ICS ISLAND AIR Duster 2000, which filters our air particles and purifies our shop of dust and debris.
Our company participates in the Scrap Reduction Program, which minimizes waste in all production processes. We use post production recycling metrics.
All of the employees that work in the office have a recycle waste bin at their work stations. We recycle and re-use all of our ink cartridges.
Diamond Envelope Corporation uses energy-saving light resources. We also use an Energy Demand Response, which is an energy curtailment program involving an energy-saving plant shutdown. Our vacuum pump is set to an alternating schedule, which allows for more energy saved.
In 2023, Diamond Envelope recycled 1586 tons of material.
Diamond saved the following:
- 26,926 trees
- 602,680 gallons of oil
- 4758 cubic yards of landfill space
- 6,344,000 kilowatts of electricity
- 11,102,000 gallons of water
- Eliminated over 5.2 million tons of CO2 emissions
